Halco CoverShield® lamps have a protective coating that restricts glass shards, mercury and phosphors within the lamp’s envelope in the event of rupture. This coating helps offset the risk of contamination or injury and eliminates expense of cleanup. Applications include municipal lighting, retail, security lights and street lighting.
